Designer Glass Studios 

The Company
Designer Glass is a team of people who've found that their skills
mesh together well to produce a whole greater than the sum of its
parts.  Begun in 1949, 1985, or 1987, depending on whether you count
the other companies we've bought over the years, Designer Glass has
been doing good work for long enough to know that this is what we
like to do, and what we'll be doing for years to come.

The People

Diedre Kraska is the principal artist.  Her ability to create well-wrought designs with and without rough sketches from clients is nothing short of astonishing.

Donna Edwards's unerring eye for color and texture adds depth and intensity to each piece of art glass she works on.

Ted Carlton often says he's not an artist but looking at his interpretations in glass of the artwork shows that he's just being modest.

Marcus Bales helps the customers explain what they really want their art glass to look like, creating the original designs that Diedre, Donna, and Ted turn into spectacular works of art.
